Demos for the film "Peter York"
I was asked to create MIDI mock-ups for a couple scenes from the movie script "Peter York." As far as I know, the movie was never made, but I enjoyed the process of writing and orchestrating my own cues - and would love to do more!
From the Peter York Script:
EXT. AUTUM FOREST - MERCERVILLE, NEW JERSEY- AERIAL VIEW - DAY - 1767
PETER YORK, a determined young boy with a ponytail, charges ahead on horseback. A SATCHEL slung over his shoulder. As he and his mare, JUMPER, leap over fallen trees and boulders...
MATURE PETER (V.O.)
My name is Peter York. I place here before you the testimony of the great crisis in my life,
how it came to pass and what was the result. It all began in the fall of 1767 when I was twelve years of age.
Suddenly, HOOVES come THUNDERING directly over us.
EXT. YORK HOME - NEW JERSEY - SUNSET
PETER bolts home. He leaps off Jumper and opens that satchel to reveal a BOTTLE of HERB MEDICINE still intact. Peter takes the bottle and races inside.
TRACK OVER to the WINDOW to SEE Peter rush into his mother's bedroom. He suddenly freezes at the doorway. He sees his mother, ANNE YORK, motionless in her bed. PETER in shock, drops the medicine bottle. It SHATTERS.

PETER leads the way. His torch barely lighting the ominous labyrinth. ELIZABETH and ROBERT are right behind him, moving deeper inside.
